I love that it highlights sentences because then I'm constantly revising and editing. I think the site really helps with passive and active voice. Yes, my paper will be a little more difficult for a sixth grader to understand, but not for college students. My paper is subjected to an audience that has had years of English and grammar classes.
I'm a college student and I'm constantly putting in my papers and my complex sentences and words are being told that they're too hard to read. While Hemingway Editor may seem to appeal to everyone, it really only appeals to elementary school through middle school.
